Yearly recertification requirements are 25 volunteer hours and eight hours of continuing education. Volunteer hours can be counted from January through December any given calendar year for re-certification. If master gardeners volunteer more than 25 hours during the year, those hours cannot be accumulated and rolled over to the next year.
WCMGA meeting count as one hour towards continuing education hours. Educational seminars, conferences, workshops and lectures all fulfill continuing education hours.
