The mission of the Williamson County Master Gardeners Association, Inc is to enhance and improve the quality of life in our community through expanded horticultural educational opportunity and volunteerism. WCMGA, Inc is registered as a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. and proceeds are used by WCMGA to fund horticultural projects.

Master Gardener certification requirements are 40 volunteer hours for first-time master gardeners. Individuals are responsible for tracking and updating their volunteer hours using the official form which can be downloaded from this site. Hours can also be filled in online by clicking here. The Williamson County Master Gardeners Association, Inc. 9 Habitat Project 7:30 am Greetings to all of our Habitat Volunteers just itching to get dirt….oops….soil under their finger nails. We have two homes to work our magic on May 9th, 2013. Plan to meet at the site at 0730, we'll get prayed up and transform the property into a paradise. Directions to 1808 Daniel Court, Columbia, TN are below, or you can enter the address into your navigation unit and follow directions…yes…follow directions, what a concept… I ask each of you to send an email to me at bwgraham84@comcast.net to let me know if you will be there or not. If you have any favorite equipment you'd like to bring, make sure you conspicuously mark/label it. DIRECTIONS TO 1808 DANIEL CT, COLUMBIA TN: Mapping services have yet to pick up Daniel Ct. From the intersection of Saturn Parkway & US Hwy 31, go south on US Hwy 31 approximately 2 miles, turn right onto Carters Creek Station Rd 350 ft, turn left onto Old Hwy 31 200 ft, turn right onto Carters Creek Station Rd 0.4 mi, turn right onto Richmond Rd 0.7 mi, Richmond Rd turns into Freehand LN continue 0.2 mi, turn left onto Daniel Ct, 1808 Daniel Ct is at the end of the cul-de-sac on the right You can also input 1865 Wendy Blvd, Columbia, TN into your GPS and get within 1 block of Daniel Ct. 11 Williamson County Library Work Day 10:00 am Hi Gardeners, The next volunteer day at the Williamson County Garden will be Saturday, May 11 at 10:00 AM. We will be pulling up any weed sprouts around our new plantings and putting in a knock out rose, the remaining red twig dogwood, the dianthus and one additional flat of annuals. As always, you may stop at the garden and do a weed check at your convenience and record you own volunteer hours. 13 Association Meeting 6:45 pm – 9:00 pm Our May 13th speaker will be Dwight Barnett and he will be talking about trees for Tennessee landscapes. Dwight has a BS in Forest Science from Oregon State University. He worked for the US Forest Service in the late 70’s and early 80’s. Spent 20 years on TN Division of Forestry staff and for the last 7 years, has been an area forester for Robertson, Sumner, Davidson, Wilson and Williamson Counties. Loves being in the field versus the office! He is a certified arborist and was awarded forester of the year in 2010.
